In-Region Quality Control Specialist (China)

Job Summary
The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for the successful mass production of soft goods, conducting inspections on outgoing shipments based on Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) standards, and collaborating with various teams to ensure product quality. Key responsibilities include overseeing quality control programs, updating documentation, investigating quality issues, maintaining communication with production teams, and developing test plans for new products. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, good communicators, and are passionate about quality assurance and soft goods design.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate about your work, detail-oriented and analytical.
- Able work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and be willing to travel.
- Up-to-date on the latest trends in soft goods design and manufacturing.
- Creative and innovative, with a keen eye for quality.
- A problem-solver with a proven ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
- A team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
- Dedicated to creating the highest quality products possible.
- Proven team leadership and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of quality assurance standards and statistically-based quality control standards (AQL, GRR).
- Experience with mechanical design and manufacturing
- Passion for gear (e.g., photography, outdoor products) and strong opinions on product quality.
