Job Summary
In-Reach Worker will deliver person-centered, housing-first support to tenants, focusing on hoarding and managing room cleanliness; assist tenants with life skills and activities of daily living; attend to overdoses and administer naloxone; develop and monitor individualized support plans; collaborate with counsellors and other professionals; provide on-site programming and participate in work programs; maintain reports and support tenant participation in policy development and community activities; possess valid driver’s license and clearance of a Vulnerable Sectors Criminal Record Check. The role requires strong teamwork, Harm Reduction and Housing First knowledge, First Aid and naloxone training, and the ability to work in a fast-paced nonprofit housing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Training and/or education in a related human/social service field is an asset
- First Aid Certification is required.
- Naloxone administration training is required.
