In Process Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Role focuses on Production Monitoring and Inspection on the production floor: perform stage-wise patrol inspections, verify dimensions and material properties using precision tools, read engineering drawings with GD&T, conduct defect analysis and CAPA (RCA via Fishbone/8D/Why-Why), maintain inspection reports and control plans, and drive continuous improvement (5S, Kaizen, SPC) to minimize waste and ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA requirements. Requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; prior experience with 7 QC tools, APQP/PPAP, and FMEA is preferred; Greenfield project experience and familiarity with SAP/ERP are desired.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor in mechanical engineering
- 5+ years in process quality experience in Automotive or Medical Manufacturing
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Experience with SAP or ERP
- Proficiency with QA tools and quality systems (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA regulations)
