Job Summary
Accurately document patient encounters, including psychiatric assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while inputting data directly into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system under supervision. Prepare clients for telehealth visits and assist with tracking orders and test results. Review and organize patient charts to ensure completeness and compliance, maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support workflow efficiency. Requires five days per week plus one weekend per month.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a scribe
- Prior experience in a medical setting
- Prior experience in a behavioral health setting
- Ability to report to facility five (5) days per week
- Willingness to work one weekend per month
Desired Qualifications
- College coursework in healthcare
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses
- Proficiency in typing
- Proficiency in navigating EMR systems
