Job Summary
Tutor Me Education is seeking an In-Person Certified Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support for students with disabilities. Candidates must have New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education, a Bachelor's Degree, and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education
- Bachelor's Degree in education, special education, or a related field
- Teaching or Tutoring Experience (1-3 years)
- Experience with IEPs and 504 Plans
Desired Qualifications
- Proven success in improving academic outcomes for students with special needs
- Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards and curriculum
- Experience working with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
