Job Summary
In-Person Academic Coach at Palm Beach International Academy (a Stanza Education School) in Boca Raton, FL. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Plan, organize, and implement a personalized in-person instructional program, guide and support students to reach academic potential using data and technology, and collaborate with instructional staff to support the student’s academic plan. Responsibilities include providing authentic feedback on assignments via the LMS, conducting in-person or virtual synchronous sessions, managing class discussions, delivering instructional activities, welcoming new students, monitoring and documenting progress in the SIS, administering and proctoring tests, communicating with students and parents at least weekly, and maintaining student records. Requires teaching experience; strong technology skills (MS Office and Google Apps) and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Valid state teaching credential. May travel up to 5%.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State Teaching Credential is preferred, but not required.
- Teaching experience required; experience teaching in-person learning environment is preferred.
