Job Summary
Lead SAP BOBJ BI initiatives as a Manager in PwC’s Data, Analytics & AI practice. Develop and optimize reports, dashboards, and universes using SAP BOBJ tools (Web Intelligence, Lumira Designer, IDT/UDT, CMC); manage end-to-end BI delivery from requirements to production support. Troubleshoot complex reporting and data-connectivity issues; manage scheduling, publication, and security configurations. Drive BI modernization including SAP Analytics Cloud integration, and lead upgrade activities from BI Platform 4.3 to BI-2025 with environment assessments, planning, and cross-team coordination. Deliver training, UAT, and post-upgrade support; produce thorough documentation and ensure alignment with business needs. Collaborate with BASIS and infrastructure teams; support cross-functional stakeholders and ensure high-quality BI deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- 8-12 years SAP BOBJ experience
- Knowledge of SAP BOBJ tools (Web Intelligence, Lumira Designer, IDT/UDT, CMC)
- Experience with universe design and data modeling; BW4Hana and non-SAP data sources
- CMS & FRS Recovery; server administration; upgrade management
- SAC experience; BI modernization; BI2025 upgrade
- Strong troubleshooting, testing (UAT), and documentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Agile BI delivery experience; automation/scripts for upgrade tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or MCA (or equivalent)
- Mandatory: Host Path mounting; CMS & FRS Recovery; BI upgrade from 4.3 to BI-2025
Desired Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in SAP BOBJ suite (Web Intelligence, Lumira Designer, IDT/UDT, CMC)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for report failures, query performance, and data connectivity
- Experience with BW4HANA and non-SAP data sources; knowledge of BEx queries, HANA views or SQL-based data sources
- Hands-on experience with CMS & FRS Recovery, server administration, promotion management, and version upgrades
- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for building dashboards and stories
- Experience leading BI upgrades (BI Platform/BObj 4.3 to BI-2025); environment assessment and scheduling
- Good communication and stakeholder management; ability to manage upgrade timelines and risk
- Experience with agile BI delivery models; testing (UAT) and end-user training stages
- Strong documentation skills; ability to convey technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
- Prior experience with SAP BOBJ SDKs and automation/scripting for upgrade tasks
- Experience with SAP Datasphere or SAP BW/4HANA integration with BOBJ/SAC (nice-to-have)
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality BI solutions
- Bachelor-level degree in Engineering or MCA (or equivalent)
- Mandatory: Host Path mounting for event-based scheduling; CMS & FRS Recovery; BI upgrade from 4.3 to BI-2025
