Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and conversions. Build and support system integrations between SAP and external systems using IDocs, BAPIs, and Web Services. Analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance while conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards. Provide technical support for SAP applications, resolve issues related to custom developments, and participate in upgrades and migration activities. Prepare technical specifications, unit test plans, and documentation for developed objects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
- Strong knowledge of: Classical and Object-Oriented ABAP
- Strong knowledge of: Data Dictionary (DDIC)
- Strong knowledge of: Module Pool Programming
- Strong knowledge of: BDC, LSMW, and BAPI-based data migration
- Strong knowledge of: SmartForms, SAPScripts, Adobe Forms
- Strong knowledge of: ALV reporting (Classical, Interactive, and OO ALV)
- Experience with debugging and performance tuning
- Familiarity with SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, PP, and their technical integration points

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, OData services)
- Exposure to Fiori/UI5 development and SAP Gateway
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jira)
- SAP ABAP certification is a plus
