Job Summary
Handle legal work on assigned insurance defense cases by aggressively pursuing files referred by the Claims Department. Create and maintain documented strategies for each case, including synopses of intangible factors like judge behavior and plaintiff attorneys. Develop and organize document files containing pleadings, briefs, and memorandums while ensuring all correspondence is properly documented. Prepare and submit timely status reports to claims handlers on significant activities at no greater than 60-day intervals. Utilize case management software for maintaining notes, diaries, calendars, and billing in accordance with company operating guidelines. Provide prompt responses to all telephone calls and correspondence.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a trial attorney
- Member of the State Bar, while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing education requirements
- Required to travel as need
- The role is considered a hybrid role, working both in office and remotely, the selected candidate is expected to reside in the Alpharetta, GA office location
