Job Summary
Create and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, incorporating milestones, activities, resources, and dependencies. Monitor project progress, update schedules, and generate reports on performance metrics for project teams. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and cost engineers to integrate data, track delays, and manage Time Impact Analyses. Lead company initiatives to improve schedule understanding, deliver training on earned value analysis, and implement earned value management processes. Serve as the internal subject matter expert for scheduling software, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting. Oversee all in-house scheduling tasks and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in scheduling heavy civil construction projects
- Expert-level proficiency in both Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Demonstrated experience in earned value management, cost-loaded schedules, and resource-loaded schedules
- Experience performing and managing TIAs, delay analysis, and project risk assessments
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations and quality standards
- Prior experience mentoring or supervising scheduling personnel
