Job Summary
Provide in-home health evaluations as a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, traveling up to 100% across defined coverage areas (West Virginia and surrounding markets). Visits last about 45 minutes and include medication and medical history review, physical evaluation, and, if ordered by the health plan, additional diagnostic tests (e.g., spirometry, diabetic eye exams). Use an iPad-based clinical workflow; not required to prescribe medicines or alter current treatment. Maintain multiple state licenses as dictated by business needs and be flexible to travel locally and within licensed states; may conduct virtual visits as needed. Primary workplace is the home of the health plan member, with environments that may include pets or secondhand smoke.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted license(s) in coverage area(s)
- Board certification (required)
- Able to obtain and maintain multi-state licenses in coverage area, as required
- Able to cover all counties within state and flex to other areas of business need
