Job Summary
In-Home Transition Consultant for Caring Transitions of Rochester. You will conduct in-home consultations with families to assess needs, measure spaces, discuss services (clearing, moving, or estate auction), and provide clear next steps and a follow-up estimate. Role emphasizes listening, asking better questions, presenting solutions with warmth and competence, working independently in the field, and representing the brand with integrity. Compensation includes $25/hr plus a per-closed-job bonus, with potential growth to higher volume of consultations or addition of a placement touring function. Typical activity includes conducting 10–20 home visits per month (2–3 hours each including travel), sending notes to support, reviewing and sending estimates and contracts, and providing a smooth handoff to operations.
