Job Summary
In Home Support Staff provide care, guidance, and supervision to individuals with disabilities or mental health needs in their homes and communities, assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independent living.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain qualified status
- Must not be excluded from working in government health programs by the Office of Inspector General
- Must be able to successfully complete company’s physical job demands document
- Must have a valid current driver’s license and must have vehicle insurance as required by state law
- Successful completion of Medication Administration class, regularly passes medications using correct procedure without error
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience with clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and/or mental health needs
- Interest in supporting clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and/or mental health needs

- Must be comfortable around dogs
