Job Summary
Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatment for patients with injuries, nerve, joint, and bone disorders to restore function and relieve pain. Travel daily to diverse home care settings, including patient homes, clinics, and doctor's offices, while evaluating home environments for rehabilitation recommendations. Develop individualized care progress records with accuracy and supervise physical therapy assistants by directing care and presenting continuing education programs. Educate clients and caregivers on therapy phases, prosthetic use, and durable medical equipment. Work Monday through Friday with occasional weekend rotation, starting at $80,000 annual base with potential for student debt assistance and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed physical therapist in the state of employment
- Minimum two years of experience as a physical therapist
- Automobile liability insurance
- Current unrestricted driver's license
- CPR certification or complete training
