Job Summary
In Home Solar Sales Representative with a focus on in-home, in-business and remote statewide solar sales for residential and commercial prospects in North Louisiana and nearby Mississippi. Responsible for generating leads, creating custom proposals, closing deals, managing a pipeline, and meeting regional sales targets. Role primarily home-office based with local in-person appointments and remote statewide appointments; requires strong communication, closing ability, CRM usage (Salesforce preferred), and the ability to work weekends for events. Competitive earning potential with commission-based compensation and company training. Eligible for advancement and supported by a dedicated team and proprietary tools.
Required Qualifications
- Proven and documented track record of sales success
- Experience in in-home sales or similar consultative sales
- Ability to generate new leads and build a robust pipeline
- Proficiency in business software (Microsoft Office) and familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual a plus
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to work occasional weekends for marketing events
- Ability to work from home office and handle remote statewide appointments
- Experience in closing deals and signing contracts with homeowners/business owners
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and disciplined with ambitious sales targets
- Experience in home improvement, auto sales, or in-home sales a plus
- Ability to generate and present proposals to prospects
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage schedules
