Job Summary
Provide assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, and help with meal preparation and feeding. Maintain a safe and clean living environment through light housekeeping duties while offering companionship to support emotional well-being. Assist clients with errands and transportation as required, adhering to established care plans and promptly reporting any changes to supervisors. This role serves elderly and disabled individuals throughout Northeast Iowa, fostering independence within the comfort of their own homes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient with a strong commitment to client care
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Must pass background check and saliva drug test
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years caregiving experience preferred but not mandatory
