Job Summary
In-Home Sales & Tech Support role requiring daily travel to customer residences (not remote) with a local Hartford, CT focus. Entry-level position operating in a field-sales environment under the Serve, Solve, SellTM model. Responsibilities include meeting customers in-home or on-site, providing exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving tech issues, and selling Asurion products. Training provided to enable independent field work; ongoing coaching and mentorship to develop communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Compensation includes an hourly base rate of $23.85, mileage reimbursement, phone stipend, and sales commissions, with a flexible 5-day schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year driving experience
- Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles)
- Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (excluding Manhattan)
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel to customer residences (up to ~120 miles one-way)
- Evening/weekend/holiday availability
