Job Summary
Conduct personal care, hygiene, and mobility assistance for clients while preparing meals and managing light housekeeping. Assist with prescribed exercise, accompany clients on shopping trips and appointments, and ensure appropriate medication administration. Monitor health changes, report incidents, and respond quickly to emergencies. Provide supportive companionship and maintain strict adherence to dietary constraints and safety standards. Maintain reliable transportation for client transport and manage time across multiple duties. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and First Aid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Car Insurance
- Reliable Personal Vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Physical endurance for carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client
