Job Summary
In Home Personal Aide for Visiting Angels of Richardson providing in-home care to senior clients across North Texas. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, encouraging exercise, prompting medication times, assisting with shopping and groceries, planning and preparing meals with clients, and assisting with mobility and accompaniment to appointments. Must be able to respond to medical emergencies and report health changes. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and minimum 2 years caregiving experience, reliable transportation, strong communication, and ability to pass background check and drug screen. Shift options include Full Time, Part Time, 8, 10, 12 hour shifts, or PRN; benefits include PTO, health and dental insurance, PPE, holiday pay, sign-on bonus, weekly pay, and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 Years Professional Caregiving Experience
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
