Job Summary
Conduct in-home health evaluations lasting approximately 45 minutes, including medication and medical history reviews, physical examinations, and ordered diagnostic tests like spirometry or diabetic eye exams. Utilize an iPad and clinical workflow for each visit while connecting one-on-one with patients to answer health questions and guide them toward better self-care. Perform virtual visits as needed and travel locally within licensed states to reach patients in their private residences. Work part-time, approximately 29.5 hours weekly, in a role that excludes prescribing, ordering labs, or altering treatment regimens.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted license(s) in coverage area(s)
- Board certification (required)
- Able to cover the following primary locations: Plattsburgh and surrounding area
- Be flexible to travel locally and within licensed states, as needed
- Conduct virtual visits as needed
- Candidates must be able to comfortably and safely perform their duties in homes that may contain household pets, secondhand smoke and other potential airborne allergens or irritants
