Job Summary
Conduct personal care, hygiene assistance, and mobility support for clients while planning meals and managing light housekeeping duties. Assist with light exercise, accompany clients on shopping trips, and ensure appropriate medication administration. Monitor health changes, respond to emergencies, and provide supportive companionship in accordance with custom care plans. Maintain reliable transportation and physical endurance for tasks like carrying groceries and supporting clients. Adhere to state and office-specific health and safety standards, including background checks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation
- Physical endurance for carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (e.g., background check)
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client
Desired Qualifications
