Job Summary
In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver for Visiting Angels of Boerne. Provide personal care and hygiene support, light housekeeping, meal planning/preparation, companionship, and mobility assistance to clients across designated service areas. Responsibilities include reporting health changes, assisting with medications reminders, accompanying clients on shopping trips, responding to emergencies, and supporting clients during appointments/errands. Opportunities for advanced training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care. Flexible schedules with multiple shift options (8, 10, 12 hours; PRN; full-time/part-time) and benefits such as health insurance, weekly pay, and sign-on bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation
- Physical endurance for assisting with groceries and client mobility
- Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties safely
- Willingness to comply with state and office health and safety standards (e.g., background check)
