Job Summary
Conduct in-home personal care, hygiene assistance, and meal preparation for clients while managing light housekeeping duties. Assist with mobility, ambulation, and light physical exercise, including accompanying clients on shopping trips and errands. Monitor health changes, report incidents, and ensure clients take prescribed medications appropriately. Respond quickly to emergencies and provide supportive companionship while adhering to dietary constraints and safety standards. Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to transport clients across the Quad Cities area.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Car Insurance
- Reliable Personal Vehicle
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Physical endurance for carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client
