Job Summary
Conduct personal care, hygiene, and light housekeeping duties for clients while assisting with mobility, meals, and medication management. Provide companionship, support clients during shopping trips or appointments, and report health changes or emergencies promptly. Ensure all tasks align with custom care plans and dietary constraints. Maintain reliable transportation to client homes and comply with state health and safety standards. This role offers flexible schedules including part-time, 8- to 12-hour shifts, and PRN options, with opportunities for advanced dementia or Alzheimer's training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Car Insurance
- Reliable Personal Vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
- Physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client
