Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes under a care plan and physician orders. Responsibilities include observing patient condition, documenting nursing actions and assessments, updating and implementing the nursing care plan, adhering to confidentiality and professional boundaries, infection control per OSHA standards, educating patients and families on disease processes and self-care, and ensuring delivery of quality care while maintaining accountability to policies and regulations. Requires active RN license, CPR certification, TB test, and readiness to travel; scheduling includes nights (8p-8a), with options for full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts in home health settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state
- CPR certification
- TB skin test
- Six months nursing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Graduate of a Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
