Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides and documents skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with the care plan and physician orders. Responsibilities include evaluating patient condition, documenting nursing actions and outcomes, updating the nursing care plan, adhering to infection-control standards, educating patients and families, and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with policies. Employment supports flexible scheduling with days or nights in the Pflugerville, TX home-care setting, including full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test within last 12 months
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
