Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) in-home health position providing skilled nursing care under RN supervision per care plans. Responsibilities include delivering and coordinating patient care, documenting activities and assessments, updating care plans, recognizing changes in patient needs, ensuring infection control per OSHA standards, and educating patients/families on disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies. Travel may be required; strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills essential. Flexible scheduling (days/nights/weekends) with opportunities for skill advancement and comprehensive benefits. Location: Pflugerville, TX; full-time, 7AM-7PM shifts with potential nights and weekend coverage; must meet state licensure requirements and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
