Job Summary
Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders while continuously assessing patient conditions and reporting changes to supervisors. Document all nursing actions, assessments, and care coordination in electronic systems, and actively participate in updating nursing care plans to achieve expected outcomes. Implement appropriate interventions based on assessments to prevent or reduce risks, educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques, and maintain infection control measures per OSHA standards. Ensure personal accountability by adhering to Aveanna policies, state regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act under RN supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English
