Job Summary
Deliver skilled nursing care for young pediatric patients with feeding tubes and medication administration under RN supervision. Assess patient conditions, document all activities and nursing actions in electronic tablets, and update care plans based on physician orders. Implement infection control measures, educate families on self-care techniques, and recognize changes in patient needs requiring immediate intervention. Maintain professional accountability by complying with state regulations and Aveanna policies while reporting status changes to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English
- Must be able to travel
