Job Summary
Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for in-home healthcare in Chalmette, LA. Provide acutely focused care including feeding tube management and medication administration. Flexible scheduling available (full-time, part-time, or PRN) with day, night, and weekend shifts. Role involves electronic documentation via tablet in patients' homes; training available for required certifications. Sign-on bonus offered; benefits include health/dental/vision Insurance, paid time off, and employee programs. Requires active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and TB test; compact licenses must be transferred within 90 days. Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (hands-on component) – Aveanna can assist after hire if necessary
- TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
