Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) in home healthcare providing skilled nursing care to pediatric patients with high-acuity needs in South Austin, with shifts including days and nights, 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM. Responsibilities include delivering and coordinating care per care plans, documenting actions and assessments, updating nursing care plans, observing patient conditions, educating patients and families, maintaining OSHA-standard infection control, and adhering to regulatory requirements. Requires active LPN/LVN licensure in the practicing state, CPR certification, ability to travel, and reliability. Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
- Home health experience preferred
