Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse for a home-based patient, with Friday-Sunday 8am-8pm shifts available and flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time). The role requires an active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and TB test; travel to patient locations in TX (Selma/Schertz area) is expected. Responsibilities include delivering and documenting nursing care per care plan and physician orders, updating the care plan, infection-control practices, patient/family education, and maintaining compliance with policies. Preferred pediatric experience and home-health background; training available for Trach and Ventilator care; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to travel is required. Required Qualifications
- Active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test
- Six months nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
