Job Summary
In Home Healthcare LVN/LPN needed for day shifts (8am-4pm) in New Braunfels, TX. Provide skilled nursing care per care plan under RN supervision, including medication administration and feeding-tube care in patients' homes. Responsibilities include documenting nursing actions and assessments, updating the care plan, ensuring infection control per OSHA standards, educating patients and families, and complying with state Nurse Practice Act and company policies. Requires active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, TB test, and ability to travel to patient homes; six months’ experience preferred; flexible scheduling with full-time or part-time options.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the practicing state
- Current CPR certification (hands-on component)
- TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted nursing license in state of practice
- State-specific requirements as applicable (e.g., pediatric experience in SC, etc.)
- Attachments or documentation per state requirements for continued education as required
