Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in home healthcare providing skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes. Responsibilities include delivering and coordinating nursing care per the care plan and physician orders, documenting activities and assessments, developing and updating the nursing care plan, observing patient condition and reporting changes, ensuring infection control per OSHA standards, and educating patients and families. Requires active nursing license, CPR, ability to travel to patient homes, and flexibility to cover day, night, and weekend shifts with various scheduling options. Training and mentorship offered; opportunities for skill advancement. Location is La Paloma-Lost Creek, TX with on-site/home visits accompanying documentation via electronic tablet.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
