Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) providing in-home skilled nursing care per individualized care plans for pediatric patients, including feeding tube and medication administration, with documentation of care activities, coordination with physicians, and patient/family education. Flexible scheduling includes days, nights, weekends, with opportunities across full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts. Travel to patient homes required; in-home care setting with OSHA-compliant infection control practices and ongoing professional development. Responsibilities include delivering and coordinating care, observing patient condition, updating care plans, and ensuring compliance with Nurse Practice Act and state/federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
