Job Summary
Provide personal care and hygiene assistance as directed per the plan of care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support. Assist with daily tasks such as feeding, meal preparation, light housekeeping, linen changes, transportation to doctor appointments, outings, and shopping. Support active and passive mobility per the plan of care and document observed changes for the Director of Nursing. Work under RN oversight, with flexible schedules and opportunities for in-home or facility-based shifts. Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of healthcare experience (or participation in an approved Mentor Program), CPR certification, ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks, TB screening, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to travel within Sacramento and surrounding counties. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of documented health care experience
- Certified CPR
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel within Sacramento and surrounding counties
