Job Summary
Provide safe, consistent dialysis care in the home setting using NxStage or similar machines. Responsibilities include assisting with dialysis treatment setup, keeping the treatment environment clean and organized, offering companionship and emotional reassurance, ensuring treatment times stay on schedule, providing light ADL support, monitoring safety and reporting concerns to the coordinating nurse, maintaining simple documentation and shift notes, and working with a clinical team. Training will be provided on patient-specific dialysis processes and home setup. Requires 1+ year of dialysis experience and the ability to work independently with a single client in Riverside, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of dialysis experience (home or clinic)
- Familiarity with home dialysis systems preferred (NxStage a plus)
- Open to in-home dialysis support and willing to complete provided training
- Must pass a Herewith background check
