Job Summary
Provide safe, consistent in-home dialysis support for a single patient, including in-home treatment setup using NxStage or similar systems, maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment, helping the patient stay on schedule with dialysis treatments, providing companionship and emotional reassurance, assisting with light Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), monitoring patient safety and reporting concerns to the coordinating nurse, and maintaining simple shift notes/documentation. The role requires fluent Spanish, strong communication, calm and dependable demeanor, and willingness to undergo structured training with ongoing clinical team support.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience (home or clinic)
- Familiarity with home dialysis systems preferred (NxStage a plus)
- Fluent in Spanish (required)
- Open to in-home dialysis care and completing provided training
- Must pass a background check
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a clinical team
