Job Summary
Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners to present customized flooring solutions and drive sales from initial meeting to signed agreement. Build trust by understanding customer needs, preparing accurate measurements and estimates, and educating clients on financing options and promotions. Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery from sale to installation while consistently achieving individual sales goals. This role requires availability for evenings and weekends, lifting materials up to 55 lbs, and managing a pipeline of multiple daily appointments. Candidates must have 2+ years of in-home sales experience and a proven track record of exceeding targets.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of in-home sales, outside sales, or consultative sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage your schedule and pipeline independently
- Confidence in a one-call-close sales environment
- Availability to work evenings and weekends when customers are most available
- Ability to lift and move product samples and materials weighing up to 55 lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable traveling throughout an assigned market and managing a schedule that includes multiple in-home appointments per day
