Job Summary
Conduct daily operations of the In-Home Services Program by supervising Direct Service Professional staff, maintaining budgets, and ensuring health and safety for program recipients. Provide direct care and training to individuals served, perform tasks according to Individual Service Plans, and conduct home visits with required notations. Screen telephone inquiries, interview potential clients, and coordinate intake, billing, and fee collection while maintaining client confidentiality and accurate documentation. Monitor service hour usage, oversee staff hiring, training, and scheduling, and prepare monthly and quarterly reports. Participate in an on-call rotation and maintain required certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years' experience in residential care, working with individuals with disabilities and management experience
- Knowledge of Medicaid systems and Individual Options Waivers
- Computer experience, including Microsoft Office Products
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Current CPR/First Aid
- Delegated Nursing Certification
- Valid Ohio Driver's License – with less than 6 points
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift, carry push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Frequently requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching
- May be required to be on feet hours at a time
- Required to participate in an on-call rotation
- Shall maintain MUI/UI log
- Maintain a clean and organized work office
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Desired Qualifications
- 1-4 years of college in a related field is preferred
