Job Summary
Conduct individual, family, and group counseling using trauma-informed and culturally responsive interventions for youth and their families. Assist caregivers in navigating systems to promote awareness of resources and access to supports. Empower caregivers with skills and strategies to support their child's behavioral health needs by creating care plans and interventions. Promote and strengthen family natural supports while working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure close collaboration and coordination of care. Ensure client rights are respected, particularly regarding cultural competency, and collaborate with other community-based organizations to provide services. Manage a flexible and independent schedule with a valid driver's license required for community driving.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field
- Valid driver's license
- Access to a reliable vehicle
