Job Summary
In-home clinician delivering direct clinical care to youth and families in individual, family, and/or group settings to address substance use, family communication, acting out/behavioral concerns, trauma, and other behavioral health needs. Works within a treatment team under supervision, provides group/family/individual therapy with trauma-informed approaches, and uses EMR documentation to develop treatment plans, discharge summaries, progress notes, and biopsychosocial reports. Services may occur in home, community, or placement settings. Requires licensure (LLMSW/LMSW or LLPC/LPC) in Michigan, CAADC or registration in process, and completion of FFT training with agency support; involves ongoing supervision towards licensure and potential PSLF eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or another relevant field of study
- Current holder of State of Michigan license as a Social Worker (LLMSW/LMSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC/LPC)
- Current holder of Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor (CAADC) or registered development plan with MCBAP (must register within 60 days if not holder)
- Knowledge of co-occurring disorders, trauma, FFT (Functional Family Therapy) and brain development preferred
- Complete FFT (Functional Family Therapy) Training with agency support
- Successful ability to complete agency background screenings and tests
- Ability to lift and transport materials/supplies up to 25 lbs for internal documentation and recordkeeping
