Job Summary
Care for infants to school-aged children in their own homes, engaging them in hands-on activities tailored to their interests and needs while ensuring their safety and well-being. Provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons policies in the Sumter, South Carolina area. This part-time role requires no transporting or household chores, offering a flexible schedule that fits your life. Candidates must have at least one year of child care experience and pass background checks.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- high school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- A cell phone
- A cell phone in good working order
- At least 1 year of child care experience out of friends and family
- Experience with children of all ages from infant to 12 years old
- Must pass required state and company background checks
- Must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
- Must comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and Bright Horizons' requirements concerning immunizations
- Must comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and Bright Horizons' requirements concerning employment physical/screening
- Must comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and Bright Horizons' requirements concerning health and safety training
- Must work in person to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery and services per Bright Horizons' policies, procedures and guidance
- Must ensure the safety of children in Bright Horizons care and the employee
