Job Summary
Conduct prescribed medication administration, assist clients with ambulation, mobility, and personal hygiene, and help complete physical therapy exercises. Perform light housekeeping, prepare meals with attention to dietary constraints, and handle shopping or accompany clients when needed. Collect information on conditions and treatment plans from medical professionals and family, then report unusual incidents or emergencies to nurses, doctors, and family members immediately. Maintain a flexible schedule while adhering to health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
- Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
