Job Summary
In Home Caregiver responsible for assisting clients with medication administration, mobility, personal care and hygiene, and participation in prescribed physical therapy. Duties include helping with shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and documenting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members. The role requires reporting any unusual incidents to the healthcare team, acting quickly in emergencies, and maintaining health and safety standards. CPR certification and a high school diploma or equivalent are required, along with compassionate communication, time management, and physical endurance. The position offers both part-time and full-time hours with benefits including daily pay, bonuses, dental/vision insurance, life insurance, and a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Respectful and compassionate bedside manner
- Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
