Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Provide companionship through conversation and activities, while supporting mobility, transfers, and errands or transportation to appointments. Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors or family members, ensuring strict adherence to care plans and safety protocols. Respect clients' privacy, dignity, and independence throughout all interactions. This role offers flexible part-time or full-time shifts across day, evening, and overnight periods with competitive hourly compensation, mileage reimbursement, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if required to drive)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, and assist with physical mobility
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role (preferred but not required)
