Job Summary
Part-time In-Home Caregiver providing one-on-one care and support in home-based settings within IHSS program, including personal care, transportation, health maintenance, medication administration, and community integration for adults in residential or periodic program settings. Responsibilities include documenting progress, assisting with activities of daily living, managing records, coordinating with families and case managers, and ensuring safety and confidentiality. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), ability to transport individuals, and adherence to training and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- All state-required training(s) and certification(s) completed in mandated timeframes
