Job Summary
Conduct personal care, light housework, meal preparation, shopping, and incontinence or dementia care for elderly clients in San Diego and surrounding areas. Provide companionship, manage transfers and ADLs, and run errands while ensuring clients remain safe, healthy, and content. Maintain valid driver's license with proof of insurance and reliable transportation; travel up to 25 miles for shifts as needed. Complete TB skin test, clear x-ray, fingerprint clearance, and CA Caregiver Registration. Work flexible 4- to 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, or live-in arrangements, with on-call availability. Earn sign-on bonus and weekend fill-in incentives.
Required Qualifications
- A passion and love for the elderly
- A minimum of 6 months caregiving experience
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license (proof of insurance)
- Reliable transportation
- Be Fully Vaccinated or Have an Exemption
- Current TB skin test or clear x-ray
- Fingerprint Clearance (Live Scan)
- CA Caregiver Registration (HCA)
- Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles for a shift if needed
