Job Summary
In-Home Caregiver responsible for assisting elderly clients with ADLs, personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed. Documents patient records daily, observes and reports on health and emotional condition, and participates in in-service training. Requires reliable transportation, car insurance, a valid in-state driver’s license, and background check; 18+; pay is $18/hour; job types include Full-time and Part-time; benefits include mileage reimbursement, cell phone stipend, and health/dental/vision insurance plus 401(k) and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Any state-mandated certification
- Must have a valid in-state driver’s license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
- In-home caregiving experience supporting elderly clients with ADLs
- Experience creating a safe, effective environment
- Listening, analyzing information, and focusing on quality
- Dependability and punctuality
- Physical ability to reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift up to 50 lbs. while avoiding potential injury from transferring, repositioning, or lifting residents
