Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Provide companionship, emotional support, and light housekeeping such as laundry and linen changes. Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior, and accompany clients to appointments and outings. Prior experience with elderly clients is preferred, along with understanding of dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Day, morning, evening, night, and overnight shifts are available, with weekends as needed. Health, dental, and vision insurance are included, alongside flexible scheduling, paid orientation, training, time off, and disability coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred
- Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
- Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and other memory-related conditions is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients with physical or cognitive limitations
